Alcohol, tobacco, drug addiction prevention

« By the age of 16, one in every two young persons has already had a taste of or regularly consumes  cannabis »

 

This doesn't happen to everyone else. We are all in the same boat !

 

 

 

The parents' association and the School administration have decided to do something about the situation and asked Stop à la drogueto help us set up an addiction prevention programme for the students. 

This programme take place in several sessions in our school:

  • Prevention of tobacco and alcohol in all S2 classes (in January in FR, in May in EN)
  • Prevention of tobacco, alcohol and cannabis in all S3 classes (in January in FR, in May in EN)
  • Prevention of alcohol, tobacco, cannabis and other drugs in all S4 classes (last December 1st)
  • Interactive testimonial, film and debate in all S5 and S6 classes (in November 2017)

All the sessions will be conducted in French or in English.

 

APEEE and the school invite and encourage you to attend the session that has been prepared for you.

 

Please come even though :

·        

you live too far away 

·        

you are extremely busy : doesn't your son or daughter deserve all your energy in this matter?

·        

you are already up-to-date on this issue : come and share your knowledge with the rest and you might discover that when it comes to drugs there are always new things to be learnt as there are always new drugs which offer different challenges so we all need regular updating!

·        

you think this is useless : if your children don't receive your support, who will support them and how will they react when someone offers them drugs?!

·         learn how to help young people find the right words to say no when they are offered drugs.
