Online talk (EN) - Presentation of CERN by researcher Mrs D. Hatzifotiadou

Dear parents, 

Mrs. Despina Hatzifotiadou is going to give a virtual talk for the teachers and the parents of our school. 

Mrs. Hatzifotiadou works as a researcher at CERN (ALICE and EEE). She also holds the position of a researcher at the National Institute of Nuclear Physics in Bologna, Italy.   

She is going to explain: 

What is CERN?  

What is its mission?  

How does it work and with which tools?  

She is going to present the Laboratory, as well as her own background, profession and daily experience within the Organization. 

 

When: Wednesday the 20th, 2021 

Time: 7 pm 

Duration: 60 minutes (40-minute presentation, followed by a 20-minute question-and-answer session)
