News in the canteen - 02/03

  • APEEE proposed allowing P1-P2 classes to have a regular lunch 2x/week in the canteen. However, given the situation, the school prefers to keep the current arrangements for all cycles unchanged at least until the 26 March 2021.
  • APEEE has been officially authorised by the local authorities to serve hot take-away meals in the refectory. We welcome this decision, but some practical issues need to be solved first (to continue complying with applicable Covid-19 measures). To test possible solutions, hot meals will be served from Monday 1st March initially only to S7 pupils, with the view of extending the service to all secondary pupils.
  • The canteen staff will makes every effort to minimise lunch service with sandwiches, with the aim of offering more cooked meal options in the near future.
  • Where possible, cold food cooked on-site will be served to all primary pupils. Vegetarian option is always available (to be ordered on MyAPEEE).
  • Certain aspects of the Food Policy will be temporarily suspended, in order to serve popular foods more frequently (meat balls, fish fingers etc.). Fresh vegetables are always included.
  • We remind parents and pupils of the possibility to provide feedback via the online form (FEEDBACK FORM). We would like to thank P2DE pupils for their lovely feedback: J
