Election of APEEE class representatives

Dear Parents,

The elections of up to four APEEE representatives in each class at all levels (Nursery, Primary and Secondary) will be held via Teams in the week starting from Monday, 5 October until Friday, 9 October.

Each class will organise the election on a date/time within that period, which is to be agreed among the parents of each class. Parents may organise the election without any involvement of the class teacher.

The class meeting for the election via Teams in October can be avoided, if:

a) An election took place already in one of the classes during a previous class meeting OR

b) The parents decide to set up their own voting system and to proceed to the election after a call for candidates.

The following key electoral rules apply for this election (in line with Article 3(4) of the APEEE Statutes):

a) A formal voting procedure is not needed, if the number of candidates is equal or less than four (4);

b) A minimum of half of the parents of the class must participate in the meeting on the date to be proposed; if they are not able to attend, their proxies or a written confirmation of their choice by email must be registered;

c) All class parents may participate in the vote; however, two parents for the same child have only one vote;

d) In case of any absence, only one vote could be given by proxy to another family representative;

e) The number of votes could be equal to four (4), as many as the number of the class representatives to be elected.

All final results per class (including the names and the email addresses of the elected class representatives) must be sent to Ms Nathalie FOREST (info@apeeeb3.beby Tuesday, 13 October, at the very latest.

Should you have any questions, please contact info@apeeeb3.be and president@apeeeb3.be
