EEB3 success in Belgian French-speaking Rhetoric's Competition

On Wednesday 16 January, five S6 students from our school (chosen after an internal pre-selection) participated in the first stage of the competition of eloquence in French. This competition is organised for the 32th consecutive year by the Athénée Charles Rogier in Liège and is addressed to the students of the last two years of the secondary education institutions in Belgium. Let us note that this is the first time a European School participates in this manifestation.

Our candidates are:

Eliott Boublil, Natalia Buggenhout, Laura Dondi, Clémence Fougeray, Iris Hanoune.

They were all distinguished by their maturity and the fluidity of their presentations on subjects of their own choice. Their professors Julidé Babursah, Paolo Cardoso, Aikaterini Lefka, Gloria Rosi et Edith Volpelière graciously helped them with their preparation. Robert Vonesh came to support and the candidates profited from his long experience.

Two among our students, Eliott Boublil (S6FRB) and Clémence Fougeray (S6FRC), succeeded in the first selection and will be among the twelve candidates who will take part in the semi-final on Friday 1 February, at 20h, in the Athénée Charles Rogier in Liège. If you wish to attend the event and support our students, you are welcome!

All the students who participated with enthusiasm, as well as their devoted professors, merit already congratulations
